Caroline is an orphan who fought in a war for her king. She is wounded and loses her leg. She comes home and becomes a seamstress to live quietly in the woods with her animal friends. Then one day, Caroline sees and falls in love with the Prince. The Queen believes the Prince needs to find a strong wife so he can become a great king. She creates four elimination competitions to find out who among the young girls of her country is worthy. Despite her disability, Caroline with the help of her forest friends and a donkey, wins the day. Because she is so brave and clever, the King makes her General of his army. After the wedding, the Prince becomes a stay-at-home dad. You Go Girl!
We should always encourage our daughters, granddaughters and nieces to be great at whatever they do. Encourage girls to think big, speak-up, and be counted. Girls are just as smart, courageous and capable as boys. Let’s help them be treated as true equals. Let’s help create a new generation of great women leaders. And remember, “YOU GO GIRL!”
