A traditional love story with a contemporary twist, in which a young woman, a brave disabled army veteran, competes for the hand of her country’s prince. The seamstress, Caroline, must pass a series of tests of talents in order to win. In the end she becomes the General of the army, and the Prince becomes a stay-at-home dad.



Caroline is an orphan who fought in a war for her king and country. She is wounded and loses her leg. She comes home and becomes a seamstress, living quietly in the woods with her animal friends. One day, Caroline sees the prince, and falls in love with him. But the queen believes the prince needs to find a strong wife so he can become a great king. She creates four elimination competitions to find out who among the young women of her country is worthy. Caroline, despite her disability, and with the help of her forest friends and a donkey, wins the day. Because she is so brave and clever the king makes her General of his army.
